The Democratic Union of Turkish Abroad (Uniunea Democrata a Turcilor de Pretutindeni) - UDTP- is a not for profit organisation registered in Romania, Constanta.Amongst the objectives of the association: democratic participation; civil control over the democratic processes of public institutions; protection of civil rights concerning freedom of speech and expression of ethnic identity of Roma and Turkish-Roma, as well as freedom of expression of religious, cultural and linguistic identity, in agreement with constitutional principles of non-discrimination and equality; protection of individual and collective rights of its members and developing the collaborations with various partners; promoting a raise in quality of education; supporting and promoting centers designed for education, sports, culture, professional qualifications; social assistance and humanitarian projects; legal assistance; mediation in relation with public authorities and private sector; protecting all the constitutional freedoms of Roma and Turkish-Roma (Hadar) People.
